Practice where you are.
I often hear people say “I can’t touch my toes, so I can’t do yoga.” This is one of the biggest misconceptions. Yoga does not require you to be anything other than yourself, just as you are. Yoga is much more than a physical endeavor but a way of life that helps you become more in dialogue with your mind, body and spirit. The practice evolves and adapts with us as we move through life’s ups and downs. For me, yoga offers a toolbox of breath practices, mindful movement, and teaches how to be less reactive to the fluctuations of the mind.
All you need to practice is a mat, and even that is optional, and an open mind.
The practice can follow you wherever you go— practice in your home, gym, on the beach, or online. There are certain awareness practices you can do while sitting in traffic, being a participant in the world. Allow me to help you set your intention and develop a practice customized to meet you where you are and where you want to be,
